The funds affocated for the Ganado Fire District Emergency Vehicle Expenditure PIan shall be distributed to the Division of Community Devefopment within t.wenty (2o) days following enacLment of this legislation. Upon receipt of the 12,644,380 in Sihasin funds, t.he Division of Community Development sha11 promptly purchase the emergency vehicles listed in Exhibit C and arrange for delivery of the vehicles, and transfer of vehicfe titles, to the Ganado Fire District. canado Fire District shall- be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repairs of the emergency vehicles, and shall- obtain appropriat.e liability and other insurance covering use of the emergency vehicles. The Navajo Nation sha11 not be liabl-e for any condition or event pertaining to the emergency vehicles - Emergency Vehicle Expenditure Plan shafl be used solely to purchase the emergency vehicles described in Exhibit C and any and aff cosL- savings shalL be returned to the Sihasin Fund once the Ganado Fire District Emergency Vehicle Expendit.ure Plan is completed. The funds allocated for the canado Fire District. Emergency Vehicle Expenditure Plan shafl revert to the sihasin Fund principal if not spent. or encumbered within ninet.y (90) days of distribution to the Division of Community Development, unless recommended otherwise by the Resources and Devel-opment Commj-ttee and approved by the Naabik'iy6,Li' Commi-ttee. The sihasin Fund shal-l- be reimbursed, in the ful-1 amount allocated in this legislation, from prospective funds available to the Navajo Nation from any and afl state and federal sources, including CongressionaL appropriations under the American Rescue Plan Act of 202L or otfrer COVID-19-refated relief .
