GFD Special Board Meeting Minutes December 2020

Ms. Althea James motions to approve and accept the increase of minimum wage to $12.15 per hour effective January 1, 2021 per the Fair Wages and Health Families Act and was second by Ms. LaVerne Joe. Board Members has discussion. Ms. Althea Joe makes a substitute motion to raise the minimum wage to $12.25 and have a $0.25 increase, across the board for all hourly personnel, and was second by Mrs. Margaret Etcitty. Main motion dies with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 0 Abstain. Mrs. Margaret Etcitty motions to approve increase of minimum wage to $12.25 per hour, across the board for all hourly waged personnel, effective January 1, 2021. Motion was second by Ms. Althea James. Voice Vote was carried for approval with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 0 Abstain.

i. January 20, 2021 at Ganado Fire Station One at 6:00 PM MDT ii. Alternative Date: January 27, 2021 at Ganado Fire Station One at 6:00 PM MDT. iii. 7. BENEDICTION BY INVITATION: Given by Ms. Margaret Etcitty.

8. ADJOURNMENT: Ms. LaVerne Joe motioned for adjournment at 5:58 P.M. M.D.T and second by Mrs. Margaret Etcitty. Motion was carried for approval with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 0 Abstain. Special Fire Board meeting is adjourned at 5:58 P.M. M.D.T by Fire Board Chair Steven Kee.
