NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

PURSUANT TO A.R.S. 38-431.02 NOTICE IS GIVEN TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE GANADO FIRE DISTRICT BOARD AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THE BOARD WILL HOLD A MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON JUNE 15, 2022 BEGINNING AT 6:00 P.M. MDT AT THE GANADO FIRE STATION, GANADO, ARIZONA . * THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MAY VOTE TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER IN EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO A.R.S. 38-431-03. THE NAME OF THE INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE FIRE CHIEF’S OFFICE.

BOARD MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DISTRICT MAY ATTEND EITHER IN PERSON OR, WHEN NECESSARY, BY TELEPHONE, VIDEO CONFERENCEING.

1. CALL TO ORDER by Board Chair Steven Kee at 6:15 PM.

2. ROLL CALL Present: Steven Kee, LaVerne Joe, and Margaret Etcitty.

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/MOMENT OF SILENCE Moment of Silence called to recognize the Late Ganado Fire Board Member Alfred John, The Late White Mountain Apache Police Officer Lopez, and the Late Former Navajo Nation Vice-Chairman/Speaker of the Navajo Nation Ed T. Begay. 4. CALL TO THE PUBLIC: Consideration of concerns and comments from the public. Those wishing to address the Board are required to fill out a Request to Address the Board Form and Sign the Attendance Sign-In Sheet. Members of the Board may not discuss items that are not on the agenda. Therefore, action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or to scheduling the matter for further consideration and decision later date. None

5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA LaVerne Joe Motion to approve the agenda, as presented, and seconded by Margaret Etcitty. Voice Vote: 3-0-0.
