WHEREAS.

GANADO FIRE DISTRICT is seeking $2,644,380.00 from the Shihasin Funds to assistance Navajo Nation combat COVID-19 Coronavirus; GANADO FIRE DISTRICT provided fire, rescue, rnedical, and emergency dispatching services to five chapters, which include Ganado, Steamboat, Klagetoh, Kinlichee, Comfields and the cornmunities of Woodsprings, Cross Cauyon, Bashbito, and Toyei; but not limited to the 1,000 square miles covered through Mutual Aid agreements and our firm mission to achieve life safety for all residence. GANADO FIRE DISTRICT provided emergency and essential response to the Navajo peoplq our customers and visiting guest since 1982. GANADO FIRE DISTRICT is seeking assistance to purchase six fire apparatus and four rescue/rnedical transport units (a.k.a. ambulance) to combat the Pandemic COVID- l9 Coronavirus. GANADO FIRE DISTRICT is seeking the support from.Navajo Nation for the purpose of obtaining adequate and reliable apparatus, supporting Ganado Fire District essential emergency staffto provide ernergency services to the Navajo Nation citizens.
