2024 AFDA Winter Training Conference

Please review attached documents to see the estimated cost to allow five (5) Board Members, the Fire Chief and Administrative personnel to attend the 2024 AFDA Winter Training Conference. This will be a two-day conference in Laughlin, NV and all incurred expenditures on this travel will stay within the daily lodging rates, meal rates, and mileage rates.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommend the board to carefully review the expenditure on this travel.

LEGAL REVIEW: N/A

FINANCIAL IMPACT: The Estimated cost to send five board members, the Fire Chief and administrative staff will be $8,110.34.

SUGGESTED MOTION: I move to approve five board members, the fire chief and administrative personnel(s) to attend the 2024 AFDA Winter Training Conference from January 10-13, 2024, in Laughlin, NV.
