Health Program. The training was conducted at Ganado Fire Station Training Room. l July 2022 - District helps the Ganado Chapter with eight (8) summer youth employment programs workforce placement for approximately two weeks. All eight summer youth students enjoyed the two weeks and stated they would like to either join the Fire District and/or return next summer. l August 8, 2022 - Narcan Training sponsored by Sage Memorial Behavior Health Department. Chantel Cook, Firefighter/AMT l August 26, 2022 - Meeting with Mr. Darryl Rockridge from Wide Ruins Community School regarding Pre-Planning the school and dormitory building. l August 21, 2022 – Regular Governing Board Meeting at Station One Training/Conference Room. l October 14, 2022 – US Office of Environmental Health did their five years inspection to the trailer lots. Minor infractions were given in the inspection. l Fire Safety Presentation for ten Head Start students and teacher at Nazlini Head Start School. l November 22, 2022- Regular Monthly Governing Board Meeting at Station One Training/Conference Room. Thanksgiving Dinner after the Board Meeting. l November 23, 2022 - Ganado Fire District Thanksgiving Dinner for the Fire Personnel at Station One Training Room. l December 05, 2022 - All paid employees received a 13-15% pay increase effective December 5, 2022. l December 23, 2022 - at 2pm: Christmas Dinner for the personnel and their families at Station One Training/Conference Room. l January 04, 2023 - Regular Monthly Governing Board Meeting at Station One Training/Conference Room. l January 12-13, 2023 - 2023 AFDA Winter Conference l LaVerne Joe, Board Member attended the full session of the conference. l January 18, 2023 - Regular Monthly Governing Board Meeting at Station One Training/Conference Room. l February 24, 2023 - Sage Memorial Hospital invited the Ganado Fire District (AHJ-Authority Having Jurisdiction) to tour the new hospital and the residential building. Per Jarom Prows, Director of Facilities with Sage Memorial Hospital advised the construction to the hospital is on schedule and should be completed by the end of November 2023. l February 28, 2023- Regular Monthly Governing Board Meeting at Station One Training/Conference Room. l March 26, 2023- Regular Monthly Governing Board Meeting at Station One Training/Conference Room. l April 19, 2023- The District celebrated National Public Safety Telecommunication Week by honoring the following Dispatchers: o Shirlene Attson, Comm. Supervisor (36 years of service) o Harriett Begay, Dispatcher (9 years of service)
