Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Basic Financial Statements June 30, 2022
The following discussion and analysis of the Ganado Fire District (the district’s) financial performance presents management’s overview of the District’s financial activities for the year ended June 30, 2022. Please read it in conjunction with the District’s basic financial statements which begin immediately following this analysis. This annual financial report consists of two parts, Management’s Discussion and Analysis (this section) and the Basic Financial Statements. Nature of Operations The Ganado Fire District provides Fire, Emergency Medical, Public Education, and other public services to homes, property and persons residing within the District boundaries, as well as services to locations and persons outside the District thru mutual aid agreements and contracts.

2021-2022 District Accomplishments:
l July 2021 – All monthly scheduled training will be suspended until further notice due to COVID 19 Pandemic health crisis. l Hosted no community educational American Health & Safety Institute Basic First Aid/CPR and AED for Adult/Child/Infant training classes on the first Monday of each month at Ganado Fire Station 1. l Hosted no community educational American Health & Safety Institute Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider and Professional Rescuers training classes at Ganado Fire Station 1. l Hosted no community educational Fire Safety and Extinguisher training classes on the second Monday of each month at Ganado Fire Station 1. l July 7, 2021 - Navajo Nation Public Health Emergency Order 2021-013: Public Health Emergency Order Continuing “Yellow Status” for Business. Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-014: Public Health Emergency Order Implementing the Navajo Nation COVID-19 Safe l July 2021 - Ganado Fire District personnel distributed hand sanitizers to community members. l August 4, 2021 - Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-015: Clarifying the Mandate to Wear Masks in Public, Including Schools and Businesses, Due to COVID-19. Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-016: Public Health Emergency Order Reemphasizing “Safer at Home” Order and Gathering Limits and Discontinuing Daily Curfew. l August 12, 2021 - Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-017: Public Health Emergency Order Declaring “Orange Status” for Businesses. Schools Framework and Declaring “Yellow Status” for Schools. l July 13, 2021 – Special Fire Board meeting conducted hybrid. l July 28, 2021 - Regular Fire Board meeting conducted hybrid.
