NOTICE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING FOR DECEMBER 2020 HELD AT GANADO FIRE STATION 1 via. ZOOM ON JANUARY 27, 2020

1. CALL TO ORDER: Regular Board Meeting of Ganado Fire District was called to order at 6:21 P.M. M.S.T. by Fire Board Member Steven Kee.

2. ROLL CALL called by Administrative Assistant Marcarlo Roanhorse. Mr. Roanhorse affirmed a quorum was present.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Steven Kee, Fire Board Chairman Ms. Althea James, Fire Board Clerk Mrs. Margaret Etcitty, Fire Board Member Ms. LaVerne Joe, Fire Board Member Mr. Larry Noble, Fire Board Member

3. GOVERNING BOARD REORGANIZATIONAL ACTION

A. Review discuss and possible action to elect Fire Board Chairperson.

i. Board Member LaVerne Joe motions to nominate Board Member Steven Kee for Fire Board Chairperson and was second by Board Member Larry Noble. Board Member Steven Kee accepts nomination. Board Member Larry Noble Motions to close nominations and was second by Board Member LaVerne Joe. Voice Vote was carried to close nominations with 5 in favor 0 opposing and 0 Abstain. ii. Board Member Larry Noble motions to certify Steven Kee as the Fire Board Chairperson and was second by LaVerne Joe. Voice Vote was carried to certify Steven Kee as the Fire Board Chairperson with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 1 Abstain. B. Review discuss and possible action to elect Fire Board Clerk. i. Board Member Larry Noble motions to nominate Board Member Althea James for Fire Board Clerk and was second by Board Member LaVerne Joe. Board Member Althea James accepts nomination. Board Member LaVerne Joe Motions to close nominations and was second by Board Member Larry Noble. Voice Vote was carried to close nominations with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 1 Abstain. ii. Board Member Larry Noble motions to certify Althea James as the Fire Board Clerk and was second by LaVerne Joe. Voice Vote was carried to certify Althea James as the Fire Board Clerk with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 1 Abstain. C. Review discuss and possible action to establish date and time for all regular Fire Board meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 P.M. local time (with subject to change).
