Mr. Todd,

Thank you for the update. We were anticipating the ambulance by the end of this year/New Year’s but this gives the fire district a better understanding of revaluating our apparatus repair priorities. I not sure if there will be any issues, on Navajo Nation’s side, with the model year going from 2022 to 2023, we need to check with Lydell Davis.

Understand the team was successful in obtaining an extension, from the 24 th Navajo Nation Council & the Navajo Nation President, to the end of next fiscal year (September 2023) but we really need to stay within this time frame. I anticipate a possible change of legislative leadership in the 25 th Navajo Nation Council (January 2023) so a possible third extension is not foreseen. Regular updates would be great and I highly recommend having a round table update with Navajo Nation DCD Executive Director Dr. Pearl Yellowman, Navajo Nation Council Delegate Vince James, and Ganado Fire District in the near future.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Fire Chief Dewayne Woodie, Lt. Jeremy Begay or I. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
