This memorandum shall serve as official notice that the Naabik' fy6t i ' Committee of the 24th Navajo Nation Council held a work session perta ining to Legislation 0023-21 as recommended by the Navajo Nation Council . ·

On April 19, 2021 the Navajo Nation Council referred Legislation 0023-21 to the Naabik'fy6 ti' Committee for work session to include representatives from the Apache County district office.

On May 3, 2021 , legislation sponsor Honorable Vince R. James, along wi th other Navajo Nation Council Delegates, met with Apache County Supervisor Alton Joe Shepherd to d iscuss the legislation. Then, on May 4, 2021, the Naabik' fy6ti ' Committee held a work session to discuss legislation 0023-21 which included Apache County Supervisor, Apache County staff, and Ganado Fire District representatives.
