New Dates for Board Member Statutory Training – Registration Now Open!

The AFDA will provide an expanded slate of one-day statutory training opportunities for all newly elected or re-elected fire board members. Board members elected, re-elected, or appointed (due to running unopposed) in the November 2020 General Election are required to complete six hours of training as defined by A.R.S. §48-803.H. The mandated training must occur within twelve months of a Board Member ’s election or appointment. Fire Chiefs are also required to complete the mandated training within one year of their appointment to the position. Time: Registration and light breakfast 8:00 – 8:30am Statutory Training 8:30am – 4:05pm Event cost: $150 and includes a light breakfast and lunch.
