NOTICE OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING FOR JANUARY 2021 HELD AT GANADO FIRE STATION 1 via. ZOOM ON February 24, 2020

1. CALL TO ORDER: Regular Board Meeting of Ganado Fire District was called to order at 6:14 P.M. M.S.T. by Fire Board Member Steven Kee.

2. ROLL CALL called by Administrative Assistant Marcarlo Roanhorse. Mr. Roanhorse affirmed a quorum was present.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Steven Kee, Fire Board Chairman

Ms. Althea James, Fire Board Clerk (6:31 PM) Mrs. Margaret Etcitty, Fire Board Member

Ms. LaVerne Joe, Fire Board Member Mr. Larry Noble, Fire Board Member

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/MOMENT OF SILENCE: Pledge of Allegiance conducted by Chief Woodie and a moment of silence conducted by Marcarlo Roanhorse for the remembrance of more than 500,000 people who fell victim to COVID-19.

4. CALL TO THE PUBLIC: None

5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Board Member Larry Noble motioned to approve the agenda with corrections and was second by Board Member Margaret Etcitty. Voice Vote was carried for approval with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 0 Abstain. 6. CONSENT AGENDA Board member Larry Noble motion to approve Consent Agenda and was second by Board Member LaVerne Joe. Voice vote was carried for approval with 4 in favor 0 opposing and 0 abstain. Records show that Fire Board Clerk Althea James arrived at 6:31 PM. 7. NEW BUSINESS A. Review, discuss, and possible action to approve the Arizona Legislature Senate Bill: SB1603 in its 2021 Regular Session that appropriates the sum 16,100,000 from the state General fund (states GF) in FY 2022 to the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) to disburse to political subdivisions that paid property tax refunds ordered in the Transwestern Pipeline Co. V Arizona Department of Revenues litigation. Fire Board member Larry Noble fire motion to accept New Business and was second by Fire Board member LaVerne Joe. Voice vote was carried for approval with 5 in favor 0 opposing and 0 abstain.
